About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Event Management and Marketing Specialist to join our team. This role is pivotal in managing and executing the Northern Europe calendar of events, including trade shows, hosted events, external events, speaking opportunities, and webinars. The ideal candidate will also support our PR, social media, and digital design efforts to enhance our brand presence and storytelling.

Key responsibilities

Event Management:

  • Oversee the entire Northern Europe event calendar from A-Z.
  • Manage trade shows, hosted events, external events, speaking opportunities, and webinars.
  • Conduct desktop research and fact-finding on ad hoc events.
  • Maintain an up-to-date calendar of activities, ensuring key information and KPIs are current.
  • Create and publish collateral related to events.
  • Investigate relevant events in each market with the Sales team.
  • Manage thought leadership opportunities in the market with partners.

PR & Social Media:

  • Optimize NEU social media channels.
  • Manage the NEU PR agenda on an ad hoc basis.
  • Support the NEU Leadership Team with media opportunities for targeted trade press where relevant.
  • Collaborate with the Global Head of PR to optimize reach across targeted platforms.
  • Contribute to quarterly NEU tactical plans for events, webinars, and PR channels.

Digital Design & Creative:

  • Support the Marketing Team by using design tools to enhance our content (PowerPoints, emails, landing pages, etc.).
  • Serve as the go-to person for video editing in NEU.
  • Assist the team in enhancing our storytelling content.

Internal Communications:

  • Produce reports and updates for Sales & Marketing teams.
  • Deliver high-quality ad-hoc reports and presentations for the Senior Leadership as needed.

About you

  • Proven experience in event management and marketing B2B
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in digital design tools and video editing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
