We're seeking a talented Financial Accountant to join our team. As the Finance Accounting Team Lead, you'll play a crucial role in driving our finance operations to new heights. Here's what we're looking for:

Role:

1. Legal Entity Responsibility:

  • Lead the month-end close process and ensure accuracy and compliance of financial information for specific Legal Entities.
  • Oversee various accounting operations including FX ledger Revaluation, AP/AR ledger control, balance sheet reconciliations, and more.
  • Review and control reports before presentation to the Finance Control Manager or internal customers.

2. Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate with global stakeholders including CFOs, Finance Managers, and Control Managers.
  • Establish productive relationships and effectively communicate financial insights.
  • Contribute to strategic discussions and serve as a trusted advisor on financial matters.

3. Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls to mitigate financial risks.
  • Work closely with internal audit and compliance teams to address any issues.

4. Process Improvement and Automation:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the Shared Services Center.
  • Analyze existing finance processes and implement changes to enhance productivity and accuracy.

What makes you an ideal candidate?

* Experienced finance professional with strong leadership skills.
* Degree in Finance, accounting, or a related field (ACCA or equivalent).
* 3-5 years' experience managing Finance and Accounting Teams in an international, multicultural Shared Services Environment.
* Fluent English
