Finance Accounting Team Lead

Role:

1. Legal Entity Responsibility:

  • Hold overall responsibility for financial operations of specific Legal Entities.
  • Drive month-end close process and ensure accuracy and compliance of financial information.
  • Review and control reports produced by the Shared Services Finance department.
  • Collaborate with Back Office Managers to ensure effective production of information.

2. Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead, manage, and provide guidance to the Front Office Accountants team.
  • Foster a positive work culture and ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures.
  • Identify training needs, mentor team members, and support their professional growth.

3. Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders including FCM, GSS General Manager, and Internal customers.
  • Establish productive relationships and effectively communicate financial insights.
  • Contribute to strategic discussions and serve as a trusted advisor on financial matters.

4. Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls to mitigate financial risks.
  • Work closely with internal audit and compliance teams to address any identified issues.

5. Process Improvement and Automation:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the Shared Services Center.
  • Analyze existing finance processes and implement changes to enhance productivity and accuracy.

What makes you an ideal candidate?

  • Experienced finance professional with advanced degree in Finance & Accounting (ACCA or equivalent).
  • 3-5 years' experience managing Finance and Accounting Teams in a Shared Services Environment.
  • Proven track record of effective team leadership and motivation.
  • Fluent English
