About you
To be responsible for consulting and advising International SOS customers on Public Health and Global Health matters. To support the health consulting team in the research, development and implementation of solutions for clients’ existing and future requirements. To work collaboratively with clients, health consulting team and account managers to ensure an active role in all aspects of client engagement and in thought leadership opportunities
Key responsibilities
Dedicated support to Specific customers
- To provide sound Public Health / Global Health technical expertise to Customer’s Competence Centre on a range of topics and initiatives, under the guidance of the Medical Director, Italy.
- To support Customers Global Health Competence Centre role of governance in following up the implementation and progress of Health Impact Assessments conducted both in Italy and in countries with ongoing projects overseen by Customers subsidiaries.
- To support Customers Global Health Competence Centre in Health Impact Assessment multi-year planning process.
Client and Business Development
- In conjunction with the Europe, Italian and regional Sales and Marketing teams, visit existing International SOS clients or prospective clients to evaluate their needs and identify new consulting and assistance and medical services leads to support the sales agenda to growth the business in Italy.
- Responsible to provide input to the Sales and Marketing teams on medical matters for proposals including definition and vetting of the scope of service and feasibility of projects.
Health Consulting Development
- In liaison with the Europe-Africa Consulting Practice Management and technical lead team, support, develop, and deliver health consultancy in Europe, Italy and in other regions of the group whenever appropriate to Italian and non-Italian companies operating worldwide.
- In liaison with the Government Medical Services team, support the development of Global Health Consulting Services from a technical assistance standpoint as directed by the CEU and Europe-Africa Consulting management teams in coordination with the Government Medical Services BL.
Occupational Health & Safety Responsibilities
- Encourage positive attitudes towards OH&S
- Ensure all workers including contractors participate in approved OH&S training programs.
- Ensure the hazard identification & risk management process is utilized effectively to manage OH&S risks.
- Apply OH&S policy and procedures to ensure compliance with Intl.SOS and regulatory requirements for OH&S at all times.
- Actively participate in OH&S inspections and audits including corrective actions.
- Include OH&S performance in worker performance appraisals.
- Ensure all hazards and incidents are reported and investigated appropriately and suitable controls are implemented.
- Ensure that workers are equipped with the information, instruction, training and supervision that they need to work safely.
- Ensure all plant and equipment is properly maintained
- Maintain relevant knowledge of OH&S issues.
