At International SOS, our business development managers are responsible for market growth. They identify, research, and develop new market opportunities and provide solutions for our clients which help protect and safeguard their employees from medical and security threats.

Key responsibilities

As a BDM, you’ll be at the forefront of our growth strategy. Here’s what your role entails:

  • Client Engagement: Identify and generate new sales and articulate our value proposition within assigned market segments to ensure that revenue and profit targets are achieved. 
  • Relationship Building:  Develop and nurture relationships with International SOS companies and networks to identify global leads and opportunities throughout the Group.
  • Market Strategy: Define go to market plan for your industry/market sector which illustrates growth opportunities, market dynamics and competitor analysis. 
  • Proposal Development: Co-ordinate all administrative and financial activities including contract review, tenders and bids and invoicing.
  • Implementation: Responsible for successful implementation of new business including all administrative, operational and financial activities
  • Market Insights: Stay ahead of market trends and insights and participate in workshops and networking events. 
     

About you

  • Experience in consultative selling or business development within professional services or B2B.
  • Passionate professional; able to adapt and develop solutions to clients' needs with clear and decisive communication.
  • Global Mindset: we operate across borders and cultural awareness is key.
  • Excellent communicator: a natural networker and a team player, with a curious mindset.
  • Excellent numerical, written, presentation and oral communication skills. 
  • Highly organised: exceptional organisational skills with the ability to successfully manage numerous clients simultaneously.
  • Ability to communicate in Italian and English fluently.
