About the role

As the Product Marketing Manager, you and your team will play a vital role in crafting compelling and persuasive content to promote our complex products and services. Your primary responsibility will be to translate technical information into clear, engaging, and easily understandable messaging that resonates with our target audience. You will work closely with the product, marketing team, research, sales, client services & learning and development teams to develop content for various channels, including websites, product brochures, whitepapers, case studies, email campaigns, social media and internal and external trainings.

Key responsibilities

  • Establish and develop a Marketing Operations function in Mauritius to support various teams including Marketing, Product Marketing, Client Services, Account Management, and L&D Teams.
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Develop product positioning, messaging, and differentiation strategies based on market insights.
  • Lead product launches including planning, messaging, and execution across various channels.
  • Develop marketing collateral and sales enablement tools
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns to drive product awareness, leads, and conversions.
  • Utilize digital marketing channels to reach target audiences and optimize ROI
  • Develop competitive positioning and differentiation messaging.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on goals and objectives.
  • Establish a product marketing request process and centralize product resources.
  • Promote company policies, procedures, and values.

About you

•Excellent writing skills with the ability to craft compelling, clear, and concise copy that resonates with the target audience.
•Strong storytelling abilities and the capacity to simplify complex concepts into easy-to-understand messaging.
•Ability to multitask and handle complex work situations with the necessary skills and diplomacy to produce effective outcomes
•Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
•Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms, such as CRM systems(Salesforce), analytics tools, and marketing automation software(Eloqua), Content Management Systems(SiteCore).
•Strong product marketing experience, combining strategic marketing vision, value-based messaging, technical expertise and design skills
•Highly analytical, with the ability to approach problems from a business perspective
•Ability to draw conclusions from data and make recommendations on maximising campaign ROI
•Qualification in marketing, communications, IT, media and/or related discipline
