About the role

The primary purpose of this role is to support regional content development, coordination, and the successful completion and delivery of responses to proposals, bids, and tenders for all International SOS sub-locations in Europe. This role provides technical support and leadership in bid management to the International SOS commercial teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the bid process for high-value, strategic, and complex bids.
  • Ensure bid processes are in place and adhered to by the Bid Team and relevant stakeholders.
  • Support the wider Bid team on various bid issues/challenges, make recommendations, and intervene if required.
  • Own the entire bid life cycle management for all Tenders/RFPs/RFQs received.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring clarity on requirements and expectations.
  • Ensure the bid response articulates key messages, value propositions, and differentiators.
  • Implement and adhere to necessary bid procedures, governance, and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with the bid qualification (bid/no bid) process.
  • Schedule periodic bid reviews in line with the bid process and obtain necessary sign-offs.
  • Conduct effective bid reviews and maintain version control of all proposals and support documents, including the final submission.
  • Provide technical writing, editing, and proofreading of all proposals.
  • Conduct peer reviews on proposals prepared by the Bid Team.
  • Ensure all bids comply with RFP requirements.
  • Manage multiple bids and competing priorities through effective organization and time management, ensuring the timely delivery of compliant and commercially sound bids.
  • Manage the pre and post bid clarification phase with the client and internally.
  • Undertake specific projects as assigned by the Regional Head of Bids to ensure the effective functioning of the Bid team.
  • Work with the H3S bid teams to keep the library updated.

About you

  • Proven experience in bid management, particularly with high-value and complex bids.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent technical writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
