International SOS is currently recruiting a Coordinating Nurse, to be based in Chiswick, West London. This is a full-time office position, with no nightshifts. Focusing on quality, patient contact and excellent care, you will be working within a truly international team and liaising with colleagues in the offices of 26 different countries; escalating to international SOS Regional and local Medical Directors for case direction and advice. 

Requirements

 

  • NMC registered for three years or more
  • Experienced in acute care, intensive care or emergency medicine, travel / global health, public health, cruise ship experience, military nursing, humanitarian / NGO work
  • Able to identify critical medical issues and act promptly to escalate and case manage 
  • Able to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Adaptable, responsive and empathetic
  • Excellent telephone manner and technical skills (MS Word, Excel PowerPoint, Databases)
  • Proficient in written and spoken English language with good communication skills
