Purpose of the Job:

 

The Marketing Manager supports the development and execution of the Canada strategic and tactical marketing plans, business initiatives and special Group projects.

 

The Marketing Manager will help the business attain its new business, account extension, and retention targets. The Marketing Manager will develop and execute a comprehensive Canada marketing approach, use best practices in campaign development, creative concepts development, marketing automation and analytics to help drive revenue & support the retention and extension targets of our regional clients.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Delivery and day to day management of regional marketing plans

  • Support the sales team by delivering on the regional marketing plans for New Business, Retention and Account Extension initiatives
  • Assist with the development of marketing objectives and marketing plans for all of Canada

 

Events and webinar management 

  • Identify and convince event experts to participate
  • Create content in close cooperation with experts
  • Manage the invitation & follow-up cycle
  • Manage the event logistics & budget
  • Manage speaking opportunity coordination

 

Digital Marketing and Automation

  • Assist with development and execution of lead generation, utilization and brand awareness digital campaigns using Eloqua and Salesforce.com; setup and execute tactical tasks associated with custom landing pages, email campaigns and lead scoring rules
  • Develop and implement initiatives to drive online lead generation and database growth
  • Develop and execute marketing automation campaigns to nurture, score and qualify sales leads
  • Conceptualise new ideas/channels, research new ideas/channels, evaluate their objective from a market and financial standpoint, and project manage digital initiatives

 

Analytics

  • Perform regular tracking of marketing performance and integrate recommendations into the design phase as part of continuous improvement process
  • Continually monitor, analyse and tune campaigns to maximise ROI
  • Develop tools and reports to track progress on marketing activities as per marketing strategic plans
  • Perform A/B tests to improve success and ROI on digital campaigns

 

Content

  • Assist with the development of creative concepts for sales and marketing collateral, inclusive of but not limited to digital assets and templates, print advertising, sales flyers, company brochures, customer communications, whitepapers, eBooks, social medeia, presentation templates, photography and videos to support sales objectives
  • Follow actively the sponsoring contracts with associations and leverage them to deliver joint marketing and business activities

Required Skills and Knowledge

 

  • Strong marketing experience, combining strategic marketing vision, technical expertise and design skills
  • Highly analytical, with the ability to approach problems from a business perspective
  • Ability to draw conclusions from data and make recommendations on maximising campaign ROI
  • Capacity to exercise initiative
  • Process oriented and results driven
  • Experience working with Eloqua or similar marketing automation system and Salesforce.com or similar CRM to capture, track and report on leads and sales opportunities
  • Excellent computer skills including advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint and advanced Excel).
  • Project management experience
  • Team player with a strong customer focus orientation
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously without compromising quality
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • High level of organizational skills, ability to prioritise and demonstrate flexibility in responding to a range of demands
  • Strong understanding of the Canadian market, including cultural nuances and industry trends
  • Ability to multitask and handle complex work situations with the necessary skills and diplomacy to produce effective outcomes
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

Qualifications:

 

Required Work Experience:

  • At least 5 to10 years of experience in a marketing role, preferably in a B2B or SaaS environment
  • Proven experience in delivering webinars, creating content, and planning events
  • Proven experience in digital marketing and best practice knowledge
  • Proven experience in producing marketing collaterals

 

Other requirements:

  • Qualification in marketing, communications, IT, media and/or related discipline
  • Fluency in both English and French (written and spoken)

 

Travel requirements:

  • This is a remote-based role that supports business for the country of Canada  #Americas
  • Travel on an as needs basis according to business needs.
