About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Security Manager, Assistance (Asia) to deliver high-quality security risk management and operational support for clients across Southeast Asia and the wider region. In this role, you will lead complex security assistance cases, provide expert risk assessments, and guide operational responses during both routine and crisis situations. You will work closely with regional intelligence, operations, and medical teams to ensure seamless, client-focused delivery. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Security Assistance & Operations
- Manage and deliver complex security assistance cases across Southeast Asia and APAC
- Provide tailored security risk assessments and actionable recommendations
- Oversee case progression and guide operational planning in both routine and crisis scenarios
- Lead or support incident response, including crisis management and escalations
- Coordinate with global teams to ensure seamless case delivery
- Develop and manage a network of security providers and partners
Leadership & Capability Building
- Provide guidance, feedback, and on-the-job training to team members
- Support the development of security capabilities, processes, and best practices
- Contribute to regional knowledge and operational improvements
Client & Commercial Support
- Support client engagements, including training, workshops, and advisory services
- Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to present security solutions and expertise
- Represent the organisation in client-facing forums and discussions
What We’re Looking For
Experience
- ~10 years of experience in security operations, risk management, or security assistance
- Proven track record managing complex security situations and deployments
- Experience leading teams and developing talent
- Exposure to crisis management and high-risk environments
- Strong cross-cultural experience and stakeholder management skills
Skills & Expertise
- Deep understanding of the Southeast Asia security landscape
- Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to plan, coordinate, and execute operational responses
- Strong client focus and commercial awareness
Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent experience in security studies, international relations, or a related discipline
- Relevant professional certifications in security or risk management are advantageous
Additional Requirements
- Willingness to travel, including short-notice deployments
- Ability to participate in on-call rotations for crisis support
- Proficiency in English required; additional regional languages are a plus
