About the role

This position will provide administrative and technical support to the Regional Manager, Compensation and Benefits Africa to deliver on regional as well as group projects and objectives. The scope includes providing support to Country Teams on HRIS (Human resource information system) on the compensation module, performance module and all the related HR systems, merit and bonus submission support, reporting, analysis as well as project coordination between regional and global teams and countries. This position also strives to achieve operational excellence within the Human Resource Function. As a Rewards & Recognition Analyst, he/she manages the business as usual and complement in strategic directives of the company in the following areas:

 

  • employment and compliance to local statutory regulatory concerns and reporting.
  • compensation and benefits administration.
  • HR policy and procedures revisit, ideation, design and documentation.
  • company-wide events facilitation; ISO and HR audits
  • contribute to Regional and Global HR project enhancement roll-outs

Key responsibilities

  • Monthly Bonus accruals and working with Finance and Compliance for International SOS for MEA
  • Oversee the Compensation module in HRIS (Human Resources Information system tool) during the annual bonus review process
  • Manage the global timelines within the region
  • Perform Compensation Studies on Yearly basis to have an overview of the Country Employee Competitiveness
  • Oversee the Compensation module in HRIS (Human Resources Information system tool) during the annual merit review process
  • Obtain salary increase trends, GDP and inflation from Korn Ferry to propose to Country HR to review
  • Train new employees and support HR community as a HRIS Champion for the region
  • Conduct data accuracy audits.
  • Escalate any errors identified, follow up with the issue until it has been resolved and update guidebook accordingly.
  • Generate Reports for respective managers, validate data on report received and update MyHR as necessary.
  • Guide Country HR if they face access or update issues

Job Profile

  • IT literate and proficient in the usage of contemporary computer software including Microsoft Office.
  • Advanced MS Excel Skills.
  • Numerical Skills, analytical ability and solutions focused.
  • Ability to identify process improvement and efficiencies
  • Ability to multitask and handle complex work situations with the necessary skills and diplomacy to produce effective outcomes;
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing;

Required Work Experience

  • At least 2 years in payroll /accounting/ FP&A
  • Preferred experience in financial/data analysis
  • Experience in an international corporation preferred: open-minded, broad view and sensitive to cultural differences
