Job Purpose:
- The Country Manager for H3S (Health, Security, Subscription Service) will commercially lead and drive sales, marketing and distribution efforts in Canada, with strategic oversight and hands on activities. This includes delivering sales targets while supporting the broader sales and account management team across the country.
- Support the development and execution of strategic plans to achieve revenue and market share goals, in line with budget expectations and sales KPIs.
- Build a cohesive and compelling understanding of the International SOS value proposition with and for broker partners, leading to their positive support and influencing of both the corporate customers and insurers.
- Deliver on the regional marketing plans and leverage relationships to drive business growth.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies tailored to the Canadian market to drive growth and profitability.
- Team Management: Build and lead a high-performing sales and marketing team, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify opportunities, trends, and competition, translating insights into actionable plans.
- Business Development: Identify and cultivate partnerships with clients, distribution channels, and industry influencers to expand market presence.
- Revenue Generation: Set and achieve ambitious sales targets, ensuring consistent growth in market share and profitability, aligning with the budget expectation of the International SOS group.
- Brand Management: Oversee local marketing campaigns and initiatives to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
- Compliance and Operations: Ensure business practices comply with Canadian regulations and standards, optimizing operational efficiency inclusive of compliance with Bill 96.
- Reporting: Monitor performance metrics and provide regular updates to the global leadership team on progress and challenges and participate and lead regular QBRs, MMRs, and actively participate in North Americas Regional Exco
Qualifications:
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- B2B Sales Experience: Proven record of selling B2B service or consulting solutions in the Canadian market, with broker and insurance engagement.
- Leadership Experience: Proven experience in sales, marketing, or business leadership roles, within the Canadian market.
- Market Understanding: Strong understanding of the local market dynamics and B2B behavior in Canada.
- Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Revenue Achievement: Track record of achieving revenue targets and driving business growth.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Knowledge of Canadian regulations and market practices is a plus.

- Strong understanding of the Canadian market, including cultural nuances and industry trends
- Ability to multitask and handle complex work situations with the necessary skills and diplomacy to produce effective outcomes
- Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
Required Work Experience
- Strong sales background, with demonstrable relationship based consultative / solutions sell expertise developed within corporate market sector and likely to have been developed across new business development and client retention / development roles and responsibilities in Canada
- Direct B2B solution/consultative selling experience in complex / service industry with at least 3 years direct selling experience to large MNC’s in the Corporate sector or similar experience selling within the insurer or broker market
Education
- Bachelors Degree – Business, Marketing, Communications.
Languages
- Fluency in both English and French (written and spoken) strongly preferred.
Travel
- On an as needs basis according to business needs (25%)
