We are seeking a Financial Control Lead to support the accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting of global financial information. Reporting to the Director of Financial Control & Working Capital, this role will work closely with local finance team and business stakeholders to ensure robust financial controls, effective accounting policies, and strong governance across specialist financial areas.

This is a hands-on role suited to a qualified accountant with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to operate effectively in a complex, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support local finance teams on compliance, restructures, transfer pricing, and related matters
  • Develop, monitor, and maintain accounting policies and standard intercompany recharge methodologies
  • Provide control and oversight of standard intercompany recharges, including actuals monitoring, methodology reviews, and audit support
  • Manage and control the CAPEX process from budgeting through to actuals, ensuring GAAP compliance, budget control, and monitoring of CIP
  • Consolidate specialist financial information (CAPEX, Tax, Insurance, etc.) within the Group consolidation system
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in line with Group deadlines
  • Support the Director of Financial Control & Working Capital with projects, initiatives, and continuous improvement activities
  • Drive process improvements and documentation of new accounting policies
  • Deliver ad hoc financial analysis, tasks, and projects as requested by the CFO, FC, or FCM

Requirements

  • Strong background in management accounting and financial analysis
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and conflicting deadlines
  • Experience working within a complex organizational structure
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience in a global or multinational organization is desirable but not essential
  • Strong drive for improvement and operational excellence
  • Ability to adapt quickly to change and contribute to change initiatives
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Hands-on approach with high attention to detail
  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to provide meaningful financial insights to management
  • Advanced IT skills, with the ability to quickly master financial systems (SUN Accounting, Cognos, Excel) and identify opportunities for improvement
