We are seeking an experienced financial accountant to support the accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting of global financial information across the Group.

Reporting to the Director of Financial Control & Working Capital, this is a hands-on individual contributor role, focused on complex accounting areas, accounting policy, and governance. The role works closely with local finance teams and business stakeholders but does not have responsibility for financial control, business partnering, or people management.

This position is ideally suited to a qualified accountant with strong technical expertise, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to operate independently in a complex, fast-paced, multinational environment.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical accounting support to local finance teams on:
    • Compliance matters
    • Group restructures
    • Transfer pricing and intercompany accounting
  • Develop, maintain, and document Group accounting policies and standard intercompany recharge methodologies
  • Perform detailed review, monitoring, and reconciliation of standard intercompany recharges, including:
    • Actuals monitoring
    • Methodology reviews
    • Audit support and documentation
  • Own the CAPEX accounting process, including:
    • Budget-to-actual tracking
    • GAAP compliance
    • Capitalization policy application
    • Monitoring of Construction in Progress (CIP)
  • Consolidate specialist financial information (CAPEX, Tax, Insurance, etc.) into the Group consolidation system
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of accounting data in line with Group reporting deadlines
  • Support the Director of Financial Control & Working Capital on technical accounting projects, process improvements, and documentation
  • Drive continuous improvement in accounting processes, controls, and policy clarity
  • Deliver ad-hoc technical accounting analysis and tasks requested by senior finance leadership

Requirements

  • Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
  • Strong background in financial accounting and technical accounting
  • Experience working within a complex organisational or group structure
  • Proven ability to interpret and apply accounting standards in practice
  • Comfortable working independently with limited supervision
  • Experience in a global or multinational organisation is desirable but not essential
  • Advanced Excel skills and ability to quickly learn finance systems (SUN Accounting, Cognos)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to explain accounting outcomes clearly to stakeholders
