Key responsibilities

Client Support & Intelligence Delivery

  • Provide comprehensive written and oral security assessments tailored to the needs of multinational clients within the civil aviation and maritime sectors.
  • Constantly monitor and escalate emerging threats, including geopolitical developments, regulatory changes, and operational vulnerabilities impacting global travel and shipping routes.
  • Conduct in-depth research into industry trends, cyber and physical security risks, and compliance obligations, ensuring MedAire’s clients receive the most current and actionable intelligence.
  • Develop and deliver specialized training programs and strategic consulting services that empower clients to enhance their security posture.
  • Act as a key player in crisis management efforts, coordinating communication and response, and undertaking on-site missions when critical situations demand direct intervention or inspection.

Additional Preferred Attributes:

 

  • Previous experience in security services, military, government agencies, international NGOs, journalism, or academic research in security studies.
  • Familiarity with aviation or maritime industry operations, including security protocols or flight planning processes.
  • Proven track record of preparing concise and impactful reports suitable for senior leadership consumption.
  • Background in client service or customer-facing roles, emphasizing responsiveness and partnership.
  • Proficiency in additional languages, with Arabic highly valued; competencies in Russian, Farsi, or Turkish are also beneficial.

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in political science, international relations, risk management, security studies, or a closely related field is required. Equivalent professional experience demonstrating relevant skills and knowledge will also be considered.

Postgraduate qualifications in a related discipline will be viewed favourably and can enhance your contribution to the role.

You must have legal authorization to work in the United States as this position is based in Phoenix, Arizona.
