What You’ll Do
As an Account Manager within the BGA segment, you will serve as the primary point of contact for a diverse portfolio of aviation clients, ensuring their needs are understood and exceeded throughout the renewal and growth processes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Driving revenue growth by managing renewals effectively and identifying upselling opportunities aligned with client business objectives.
- Developing and implementing a strategic territory engagement plan that fosters long-term partnerships and maximizes client retention.
- Establishing yourself as the trusted advisor and advocate for clients, delivering world-class support and ensuring seamless onboarding and adoption of MedAire's innovative medical, security, and safety solutions.
- Managing the full sales lifecycle from proposal preparation and pricing negotiations to contract renewals, maintaining up-to-date CRM records, and providing accurate forecasting to leadership.
- Collaborating across internal departments including Global Response, Compliance, and Marketing to streamline client service and leverage cross-selling opportunities.
- Representing MedAire at key industry events, trade shows, and regional aviation conferences, enhancing the company's presence and building valuable industry relationships.
- Providing critical support during client crisis situations, coordinating efforts with our Global Response Center to deliver timely solutions.
- Ensuring all client interactions comply with ISO 9001:2010 standards and HIPAA confidentiality requirements, maintaining the highest quality of service and data protection.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives by sharing client feedback and market insights to inform product development and service enhancements.

- Comprehensive understanding of the Business & General Aviation landscape or experience in related sectors such as Health, Security, or Travel Assistance, enabling insightful client engagement and solution positioning.

- Strong negotiation and closing acumen to secure contracts and renewals that support sustainable business growth.

Required Experience
- Minimum of three years experience in B2B solution-oriented or consultative sales, preferably within the aviation or related industries, demonstrating a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Between three to five years of progressive experience in sales, account management, or customer service roles, with responsibilities including client engagement, contract negotiation, and relationship development.
- Proven ability to prepare and deliver compelling presentations tailored to various audience levels, including group settings and senior leadership.
- Strong analytical skills with capacity to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed decisions that drive client success.
- Proficiency with contemporary CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office suite tools to manage pipeline, track performance, and produce detailed reports.
- Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.
Education & Languages
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, ideally in Business, Aviation, Communications, or a related field that provides a strong foundation for client and sales management.
- Fluency in English is mandatory for effective communication with global clients and internal teams.
- Knowledge of Spanish language is considered an advantageous skill, enhancing communication with a broader client base and facilitating opportunities within Spanish-speaking markets.
- Continuous professional development is encouraged, including certifications relevant to sales, account management, or aviation safety to further enrich expertise.
Travel
The role involves approximately 25% travel, combining regional domestic trips with occasional international travel to client sites, industry conferences, and trade events. This travel is essential to maintain strong client relationships, attend key aviation forums, and support crisis response when required.
Potential travel destinations span North America primarily, with select engagements across international locations, providing exposure to diverse cultural and business practices within the aviation industry.
Flexibility and readiness to travel on short notice can be expected, reflecting the dynamic nature of aviation risk management and client support.
