About the position:
The Employee Wellness & Health Program Coordinator plays a pivotal role in promoting the health and well-being of employees enrolled in chronic disease management and mental health support programs across sites. This centralized role ensures timely follow-ups, coordinated care, and continuous monitoring, leveraging existing infrastructure to improve health outcomes and reduce organizational healthcare costs. The coordinator acts as a key liaison between employees, healthcare providers, and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality, integrated care. Flexibility to travel is also required, as the position may involve site visits or coordination across various locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Medical Responsibilities
- Conduct regular follow-ups with employees in chronic disease or mental health programs.
- Ensure participants stay informed and engaged with their care plans.
- Support additional tasks assigned by the Account Medical Advisor to enhance onsite health services.
Communication, Support & Training
- Maintain a professional and supportive attitude to foster a positive workplace culture.
- Monitor compliance with medical clearances and health advice.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals for documentation and follow-through.
- Coordinate referrals and ensure continuity of care.
- Generate reports on program metrics and provide strategic insights for improvement.
Clinical Governance
- Adhere to International SOS’s global standards for clinical excellence and patient safety.
- Participate in audits, incident tracking, emergency drills, and competency assessments.
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Occupational Health & Safety
- Promote a safe and healthy work environment.
- Complete required OH&S training and follow safety protocols.
- Report hazards, injuries, or illnesses promptly for timely action.
Requirement:
- Background in nursing, public health, psychology, or related healthcare field preferred.
- At least 40 hours Basic Occupational Safety and Health Course.
- Experience in chronic disease management, mental health coordination, or occupational health is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage sensitively and effectively with diverse employee populations.
- Proficiency in data tracking, reporting tools, and health documentation systems.
- Ability to work independently while coordinating across multiple locations and teams,
- Good presentation and communication skills
