About the role
We are looking for a Director of Security, Consulting, to join our consulting team in Milan and support teams across Europe. You will be responsible for supporting the teams with the growth and the effective coordination and delivery of security consulting, training and managed services in CEU (Switzerland and Italy), GEA (Germany and Austria) and SEU (France, Spain, Belgium and Luxembourg).
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Security Director with skills and proven experience in B2B business, complex solution selling environment to support the growth of one of the most strategic European businesses of the global leader in Health & Security Risk Solutions.
Key responsibilities
Revenue Generation & Business Development:
Conduct strategic analysis of security market for CEU, GEA and SEU. Translate this and the ISOS security and Europe & Africa Consulting Practice strategies into a plan to grow consulting sales in CEU, GEA and SEU
o Advise Practice Director, regional GMs and other stakeholders as appropriate on areas to focus to drive sales
• Build a robust personal sales pipeline and regional security sales pipelines for CEU, GEA and SEU
• Managing key client stakeholders in conjunction with other members of ISOS (sales and / or Consulting)
• Secure client engagements in line with personal sales targets (as agreed with Practice Director Europe & Africa Consulting)
• Develop / co-develop thought leadership and lead / support marketing and brand development activity
Delivery of client projects:
• Manage end-to-end client security (including Crisis Management) projects, from planning to execution, ensuring successful outcomes and client satisfaction.
• Manage delivery teams where applicable to deliver client work, including; Onboarding team; Manage delivery against timeline and quality expectations and; Closing out the project successfully with the client
Driving development / enhancement of our security offerings
• Understand market demand for security consulting support and ISOS security capabilities (current and planned)
• Identify opportunities to develop new offerings / enhance existing ones
• Drive, with other relevant practice members and ISOS security stakeholders, the development / enhancement of our security offerings
• Take the lead in identifying the need and subsequently developing and delivering / managing others to deliver internal and external security marketing activity
Developing the practice team:
• Identify opportunities (with other relevant practice members) to bring other security consultants onto the team.
o Lead / support the recruitment process as applicable
• Take on line management responsibilities, as agreed with Practice Director Europe & Africa Consulting
• Support the professional development of team members during project delivery
Managing personal development:
• Agree development objectives during the talent review process and annual performance review process and action these. This includes (but is not limited to):
o Self directed training
o Formal training
• Complying with Europe & Africa Consulting Practice and ISOS processes and procedures
About you
- Security project sales and delivery experience. Experience of selling and delivering consulting security projects in a client environment from initiation to final delivery. This includes (but is not limited to):
- Design / delivery of security consulting
- Corporate security experience
- Risk and Crisis Management (qualifications / certification an advantage)
- Previous experience in security delivery: consulting, corporate, military, police, intelligence, NGO, disaster management or relevant field of academia
- Delivery of security consulting projects either as part of an external (preferred) or in house consultancy
- Experience of selling and / or delivering one or more areas that align to ISOS security consulting offerings (travel risk management, event risk management, crisis management, etc.)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in security, politics, international relations, law enforcement, criminal science, disaster management or related field
- Other relevant qualifications an advantage
