Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The incumbent will be responsible for a wide range of nursing duties aimed at delivering high-quality patient care in the International SOS clinic and First Aid facilities as required by the client. Responsibilities will include:
- Administering prescribed treatment and carrying out necessary nursing care to ensure the well-being of clients.
- Assisting with general clinic duties in various departments such as pharmacy, laboratory, and ensuring completion of checklists and changing of linens.
- Conducting daily equipment checks and drug inventory checks to maintain a safe and efficient clinical environment.
- Providing clerical support by attending to clients in the reception area, answering telephones, and restocking essential forms.
- Maintaining absolute confidentiality regarding client visits, care, and health status.
- Completing monthly stock orders and managing inventory for medical supplies.
- Assisting with the maintenance of equipment registers and coordinating servicing with the Supply Chain department.
- Adhering to the clinic's Infection Control Policy and Procedures at all times to ensure a safe healthcare environment.
- Attending and actively participating in scheduled Continuing Medical Education sessions to enhance professional development.
- Participating in staff meetings for the discussion and reporting on clinic operations.
- Working shifts as part of the roster when required.
- Supporting health programs and initiatives as directed by the Medical Director.
- Initiating and/or assisting with First Aid treatment as necessary.
- Performing other lawful duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Participating in Tool Box talks as directed by the SMO and/or HSE supervisor.
As a vital member of the healthcare team, you will also be entrusted with additional responsibilities that further contribute to a collaborative workplace:

- Being aware of and actively participating in the ongoing development of Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) policies and practices.
- Undertaking project work or other reasonable duties as requested by the Clinic Manager to ensure smooth operations.

- Assisting in the maintenance of accurate medical records in both soft and hard copies.
- Managing medical consumables and pharmacy inventory effectively to ensure availability of necessary supplies.
- Completing miscellaneous duties assigned by the Clinic Manager within your capability, such as preparing dressing materials for outpatient departments.
- Undergoing ongoing revisions and refresher training for nursing skills to stay current with best practices.
- Actively participating in the development and maintenance of a safe and healthy workplace.
- Completing all mandatory OH&S training required by the organization.
- Adhering to any reasonable instructions or safe work procedures provided by International SOS.
- Cooperating with management to fulfill legislative obligations for workplace safety.
- Exercising due diligence in ensuring your own health and safety as well as that of others within the workplace.
- Reporting any injuries, hazards, or illnesses to your supervisor promptly to ensure a proactive approach to health and safety.
