About the role

The Sr Analyst (Editor and Desktop Researcher), CKC will work in close collaboration with all other colleagues in the CKC, as well as global medical and operations teams. The Sr Analyst (Editor and Desktop Researcher) assists with editing, researching, compiling, and writing of medical content for Health Consulting deliverables including but not limited to: Site Health Review, Trip Reports, etc.

Key responsibilities

  • Edit and proofread consulting deliverables for English expression, including grammar, spelling andsentence structure, while maintaining the medical meaning.
  • Adhere to and ensure group editing policies and procedures while editing.
  • Gather information from and monitoring news sources, government sources, and other medicalsources for news for country medical and geographical statistics. For example, road accidentcases in a particular location, infectious disease spread in a particular city / location.
  • Complete other desktop research tasks upon request.
  • Able to manage research projects individually.
  • Coordinate with different regions and teams to gather relevant information

  • To be aware of International SOS’ policies, practices and procedures and actively participate in theongoing development and enhancement of these important areas of our business.
  • Undertaking project work or reasonable duties as requested by direct Manager
  • Maintain personal ongoing credentialing of all related skills, qualifications and knowledge neededto complete the defined role and comply with relevant authorities.

Required Languages

Required Qualifications

  • Base qualification: Degree in English literature / BSc. Professional courses in medicalwriting/editing are desirable.
  • Post graduate in any discipline (as preferred).

 

Required Work Experience/Knowledge

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in copy editing, research and writing with a professionalpublishing agency, editing agency, or similar.
  • Excellent knowledge of MSWord, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint.

 

Desirable Work Experience/Knowledge

  • Copy editing and research experience for multinational companies, or for materials to be publishedinternationally.
  • Professional courses in medical writing/editing are desirable.
