Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

The Security Consulting Manager (SCM), Indian Subcontinent will drive security revenue growth and the effective coordination and delivery of security consulting and managed services in the region within scope. The SCM will oversee the provision of support to International SOS Consulting Middle East distribution channels to drive profitable growth across relevant business lines in security consulting solutions and customer satisfaction. They will help to translate the Security Services’ strategic vision into clear priorities and actions, driving the day-to-day delivery of Security Consulting in the region across the International SOS Security Consulting focus areas (Crisis Management, Risk Assessment and Management, Security Consulting, and Information). 

Business Development

  • Partner with Consulting Practice leaders, Security teams, and commercial stakeholders to shape, pursue and close new opportunities.   
  • Provide professional security expertise to drive consulting opportunities through strategic client engagement and global/cross-border collaboration with clients and prospects. 
  • Support Account Management and Business Development teams in deepening key client relationships by identifying and integrating security advisory into broader consulting engagements

Solution Design and Delivery

  • Design and position tailored security and managed service solutions that align with client needs and global standards.
  • Drive execution and delivery of Security Consulting in the region, including building a high-quality, scalable security consultant capability in close coordination with Consulting Practice HR and administration and regional Security Partners. 
  • Ensure quality and consistency of consulting delivery, aligned with ISO standards and internal quality frameworks.
  • Collaborate with regional security colleagues and Security peers globally to identify trends across security markets and continuously share best practice. 

Representing International SOS Consulting

  • Represent International SOS Consulting at industry forums and in the media across our consulting pillars (Crisis Management, Risk Assessment and Management, Security Consulting and Information)
  • Contribute to marketing and business development efforts by producing thought leadership content and client-relevant materials.
  • Develop and maintain strong networks across client organizations, industry associations, and peer groups.
  • Provide regional intelligence on client needs, competitive activity, and emerging risks to shape consulting strategy.

Additional Responsibilities 

  • Identify, manage, and grow a diverse team of security professionals – including external consultants - capable of delivering a range of security consulting solutions in support of our clients. 
  • As required, support the Intl.SOS Consulting global security and consulting leadership team on strategic initiatives, pilots, and practice development efforts. 
  • Advocate for Indian Subcontinent clients through localisation and driving innovation of services. 
  • Provide local market, customer, and competitor insight. 
  • Prepare for, and actively participate in, Consulting Practice and Security Services calls and projects, forums, events, and meetings when and where appropriate. 
  • Regional and international travel as required.

Experience Required

  • 10+ years in security consulting, site security risk assessments, physical asset protection, crisis management, resilience planning, or related domains.
  • Demonstrated success in designing and delivering site-specific security solutions for clients in critical infrastructure, energy, corporate facilities, or high-risk industries.
  • International consulting experience, with the ability to adapt recommendations to varying cultural and regulatory environments.
  • Experience managing third-party consultants and coordinating multi-stakeholder projects.
  • Exposure to security operations planning, command center design, or technical security system reviews is a plus.
  • Business development and proposal support experience preferred.
  • Previous roles in military, law enforcement, intelligence, NGOs, or emergency services considered advantageous.

Extensive international travel or expatriate experience preferred
