We’re Hiring: Machine Learning Engineer (Senior) — Mauritius

About the Role

As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will play a key role in industrialising AI capabilities and transforming experimental models into robust, high-performance production solutions.

You’ll work at the intersection of Data Science, Product, and Engineering, ensuring our ML systems are reliable, scalable, and secure.

What You’ll Do

ML Systems & Deployment

• Design and build scalable training, deployment, and inference pipelines
• Deploy ML models using CI/CD, containerisation, and cloud platforms
• Ensure performance, latency, and reliability at scale

MLOps & Lifecycle Management

• Implement model versioning, monitoring, and automated retraining
• Detect and manage model drift, data drift, and performance degradation
• Establish best practices and operational standards for AI systems

Collaboration & Product Integration

• Partner with Data Scientists to productionise and scale models
• Collaborate with Product & Engineering teams to embed ML into customer-facing products
• Translate experimentation into business-ready solutions

Governance, Security & Responsible AI

• Ensure compliance with privacy, security, and regulatory requirements
• Promote explainability, auditability, and ethical AI practices
• Maintain clear documentation of models and decisions

What You Bring

8+ years of experience in ML Engineering, MLOps, or Software Engineering
Strong coding skills in Python
Proven experience with cloud environments and scalable systems
Hands-on expertise with tools like

• MLflow, Kubeflow, SageMaker
• Kubernetes

à Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
à Master’s in AI, Big Data, or similar is a plus
