About the role

The Content Marketing Assistant (Japan Market) is responsible for supporting the efficient and high‑quality delivery of Japan‑ready marketing materials by acting as a coordinator between the Global teams and the Japan Marketing team.
This role does not finalise or fully localise marketing content
on their own; instead, it performs pre‑localisation tasks and information coordination to reduce the workload of the Japan team.
Key responsibilities include understanding the availability and content of globally produced marketing assets, conducting initial translation checks, preparing materials for Japan adaptation, and ensuring smooth, timely sharing of information, files, and updates across teams.
The position plays a critical role in enabling the Japan team to produce localised materials faster, with higher quality, and at greater scale.

Key responsibilities

Pre‑Localisation Support:

  • Review and understand global marketing materials (articles, brochures, presentations, videos, etc.) to prepare them for Japan adaptation
  • Conduct initial translation checks (EN↔JP), correct basic inconsistencies, and ensure terminology alignment before handing over to the Japan team for final localisation.

Coordinator Between Global and Japan Teams:

  • Track the availability, versions, and updates of all global marketing tools and assets; proactively share relevant information with the Japan Marketing team
  • Facilitate smooth communication by accurately conveying Japan team requests to Global/Regional teams and following up on progress

Operational Support for Japan Marketing Team:

  • Prepare materials for web updates, email campaigns, and sales support before they move into final localisation
  • Conduct initial checks on documents for consistency, basic accuracy, and adherence to brand tone and style
  • Assist with event and webinar preparation by organizing existing assets, confirming translations, and supporting the creation of Japan-ready drafts
