About the role

The Marketing Manager Middle East will be part of the Regional Marketing and Communications team for MEA, reporting functionally to the Regional Head of Marketing and Communications MEA. The Manager is responsible for executing the Region’s and Cluster marketing and communication plan in the Middle East (ME) cluster. The manager will work closely with the Cluster’s sales team to ensure sales and marketing integration. They will also create and execute a well-structured marketing and communications plan for the cluster-specific sub-brands.

Key responsibilities

MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS PLAN:

Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and communications plan that align with the Group’s, regional and cluster goals and objectives.

Align marketing and communications priorities with sales priorities for the cluster and sub-brands.

STAKEHOLDERS MANAGEMENT:

Work closely with various internal and external stakeholders, including sales team, security, medical, operations, media, suppliers, business lines, HR and Group teams.

PR:

Manages the PR pipeline for ME, draft all press materials and coordinate all media relations initiatives. 

Development of relationships with PR contacts to support our agendas

CAMPAIGNS EXECUTION:

Provide hands-on support and brief agencies/suppliers as required to ensure the creation of visually appealing, professional, and on-brand marketing and communications material.

Coordinate and contribute to creating required collateral (copywriting and design work) to support campaigns, clients and sales team.

TRANSLATION:

Translation of content from English to Arabic and Arabic to English.

Leverage company-approved technology capabilities to facilitate translation while ensuring the quality of the output.

 

EVENTS MANAGEMENT:

Lead the planning and execution of events within the ME cluster. These include:

Trade events and conferences (in-person and virtual)

Webinars

Clients and prospects events

REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE 

Strong planning and project management skills. 

Strong knowledge of marketing and communications techniques for B2B markets.

Strong knowledge of the business environment in Abu Dhabi and the ME region.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

Ability to multitask and handle complex work situations with the necessary skills and diplomacy to produce effective outcomes

Ability to work in a multicultural and global environment

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing

Attention to detail

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication or any other related field;

 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 5 years past experience in marketing and communications - ideally within a B2B environment;

Hands-on experience with creation of content: design, copy writing and project management;
