We are looking for a Security Specialist to join our office in Madrid. 

Main missions  

 

 

Security Operations 

  • Provide quality security briefings and advice, by email and/or telephone, according to customer requests; 
  • Provide and coordinate the implementation of security assistance when needed; 
  • Work in close collaboration with the assistance platform and International SOS security offices around the world; 
  • Contribute to the production of the weekly analytical reports and thematic reports intended for our Spanish-speaking clients; 
  • Escalate any security issue or disruptive event that may impact Spanish-speaking customers; 

 

 

Crisis management 

  • In conjunction with the Security Manager and other Security leadership members, support the operational team and provide appropriate advice to customers in the event of a security crisis; 
  • Prepare internal communication media; 
  • Work in conjunction with security offices. 

 

 

 

Customer Support, Consulting and Training 

Ensure the integration of new customers and prospects through the presentation of the security office and our activities during clients’ visits. 

  • Deliver – independently or in pairs – security risk awareness sessions for our customers:  
  • Work closely with the sales team in case of complex customer requests and / or consulting opportunities; 
  • Participate in Marketing events and webinars. 

Profile 

 

 

  • Graduate of a master’s degree in international relations or equivalent (Political Science etc.) 
  • A first successful experience in the field of security, assistance or analysis is required (military, police, government, NGO, journalism, academic field) 
  • Demonstrated interest in international affairs and security 
  • Ability to work under pressure, to be versatile and proactive 
  • Very good analytical and synthesis skills 
  • Excellent writing skills in Spanish and English – A third language is a plus 
  • Very good oral communication
