About the role
We are looking for a technical lead/junior architect to join our team in Chiswick, West London. You will be responsible for overall development and delivery of Key Products working closely with Product Directors, other application architects and the development scrum team.
In this role you will define development standards, testing metrics and process to build the technical solutions for new feature development according to business goals and commercial value.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a technical development background and experience of designing and developing scaleable solutions, who is looking to work in an global, agile, fast paced environment using leading technology.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable web and mobile solutions using the latest technology standards to meet market requirements helping
- Develop solution features following development best practices, ensuring solution performance and users adoption;
- Develop integrations with external systems (3rd Party Integration tools such as MuleSoft, Okta etc) according to the defined architecture guidelines.
- Review & define technical solutions with impact assessment to WFR as a single product offering.
- Build scalable solutions in line with reference architecture and containarization principles.
- Collaborate closely with Technical, Testing and Design teams to define exceptional experiences and scalable solutions
- Ensure compliance with legal, privacy, security, and architectural standards
- Ensure clear and comprehensive product documentation
About you
• Knowledge of web development or mobile app development, business modeling, database concepts and project management - preferably using Agile Development Methodologies.
• Proficient in REST based APIs using JSON and web services
• Ability to manage the delivery team. Must be able to coach Associate and Professional Developers
• Experience Integrating with Identity Access Provider (Okta preferred).
• Experience in developing solutions in cloud(AWS) using Cloud-Native technologies.
• Proficiency in web-based development using JavaScript, CSS, Markup Languages.
• Proficiency in web-programming tools such as ASP, .net, PHP, C# or Java.
• Working knowledge of product development architecture
• Excellent knowledge of User Centered Design principles & design quality standards
• Good oral, written and presentation skills, with ability to organize and present technical material in an easily understood manner.
• Ability to communicate detailed, persuasive information to all stakeholders – verbally and in writing
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done
• Experience working in a multi-cultural international organization is a plus
• Adept at managing multiple stakeholders in day-to-day work
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
