About the role

We are seeking a talented Senior Product Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will collaborate with product and engineering teams to craft the creative vision, strategy, and delivery of multiple design efforts. You will understand the needs of our clients and their customers and translate those needs into clear, actionable, creative strategies.

Key responsibilities

  • Work within our empowered product, design, and engineering team from early-stage discovery through to launch.
  • Evolve and grow the interaction models, experience, and UI design of our digital product suite.
  • Manage and innovate on top of our design system.
  • Champion design quality and be the voice of "what good looks like" when working with International SOS partners.
  • Collaborate with the design team to contribute to the design roadmap.
  • Utilize a variety of UCD practices such as system maps, user flows, high-level IA/UX, lo-fidelity designs, and prototypes.
  • Maintain a focus on user needs across diverse users and scenarios.
  • Evangelize user-centered design practices and share the story of design with internal and external stakeholders.

About you

  • 6+ years of experience in managing and contributing to complex design systems.
  • Strong portfolio with examples of work that spans web and mobile products.
  • Experience in iterative product development.
  • Ability to explain the story of design - process, rationale, why it works, how it delivers value.
  • Understanding of basic technical development practices.
  • Experience with user research and leveraging insights to guide design decisions.
  • Understanding of designing for accessibility (WCAG 2.2 AA compliance).
  • Proficiency with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma) and product management tools (e.g., Jira).
  • Experience with medical, security, or related content is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of AI and GenAI applications is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in design, human-computer interaction, communications, marketing, or a related field.
