About the role
Location: London
International SOS is seeking an experienced Case Management Nurse to join the TRICARE Global Medical Team, supporting military members and their families living overseas.
What makes this role different?
This is a specialist case-management role; not a traditional nursing position. You will manage complex and high-cost cases, develop individualised care plans, and coordinate with beneficiaries, international healthcare providers, TRICARE partners and colleagues across multiple regions.
Using your clinical judgement, you will help beneficiaries navigate unfamiliar healthcare systems and access appropriate care. The role combines meaningful one-to-one engagement with the challenge of managing complex cases across countries, healthcare systems and time zones.
Key responsibilities
- Manage an active portfolio of beneficiaries with complex or high-cost healthcare needs.
- Develop individualised care plans and agree achievable goals with beneficiaries.
- Help beneficiaries understand their diagnoses, treatment pathways, medications and available care options.
- Coordinate with international healthcare providers, TRICARE stakeholders and regional colleagues to support continuity of care.
- Consider the healthcare resources and standards available in each beneficiary’s location when coordinating appropriate services.
- Monitor clinical progress, update case plans and identify issues requiring escalation.
- Contribute to multidisciplinary case discussions and presentations for TRICARE medical leadership.
- Identify patterns, quality concerns and opportunities to improve the Case Management Program.
About you
- A current NMC pin
- Demonstrable experience managing complex healthcare cases.
- Strong assessment, care-planning and beneficiary-engagement skills.
- The ability to interpret complex clinical information and communicate it clearly.
- Confidence working independently while contributing to a collaborative, geographically dispersed team.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, basic IT skills and confidence learning clinical case-management systems.
Benefits
- Genuine growth pathways alongside renummeration growth
- Advanced benefit package
- Exposure to different healthcare systems and complex international cases
- A role with real ownership, professional judgment and beneficiary impact
- Colloborative office space with a strong cohesive team
- Employer pension contributions
