Role Overview
The International Operations Specialist (IOS) is responsible for delivering high‑quality, 24/7 medical, security, and logistical assistance to clients and subscribers through the Assistance Centre. The role focuses on effective case management, empathetic customer service, and seamless coordination with medical, security, and operational teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle all incoming assistance requests and manage cases efficiently, ensuring timely, accurate, and high‑quality service delivery.
- Coordinate medical, security, and logistical support solutions using internal resources and external providers.
- Communicate professionally with clients, gather required information, and ensure understanding of each request.Maintain detailed case documentation and ensure correct preparation for billing.
- Escalate cases appropriately and support continuous improvement by addressing customer feedback.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues in medical, security, and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Participate in training, follow company procedures, promote company values, and maintain a professional work environment.
Skills, Experience & Requirements
- Strong operations and logistics capabilities, with the ability to multitask, prioritise, and perform effectively in a demanding, fast‑paced environment.
- Cultural sensitivity and the ability to work seamlessly within a multilingual, multicultural team.
- Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, situational awareness, and resilience under pressure.
- Customer‑service orientation with the ability to quickly understand, assess, and respond to evolving situations.
- Solid IT proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Outlook and Word.1–2 years of experience in logistics, customer service, travel, healthcare, or call‑centre operations (desirable).
- High school diploma required; tertiary education preferred.
- Excellent written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Flexibility to work in a 24/7 shift‑based environment, including occasional overtime as operational needs arise.
