Role Overview

The Account Manager is responsible for retaining, growing, and maximizing the value of a portfolio of strategic B2B clients. This role manages the full client lifecycle—from onboarding and engagement through renewals and account expansion—by building strong stakeholder relationships, delivering client‑centric solutions, and achieving or exceeding revenue and retention targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic client accounts across all stages of the client journey
  • Develop and execute tailored account and engagement plans
  • Drive renewals, extensions, migrations, and cross‑sell opportunities
  • Build strong, long‑term relationships with client stakeholders and internal teams
  • Analyze account performance, utilisation, and profitability to identify growth opportunitiesLead value‑based selling and commercial negotiations
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure service excellence and client satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management and reporting
  • Champion continuous improvement, innovation, and professional development
  • Comply with all Occupational Health & Safety requirements

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree advantageous)
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in Account Management or Commercial Relationship Management (B2B)
  • Proven success in value‑based sales, renewals, and account growth
  • Experience managing complex negotiations and multiple stakeholders
  • Exposure to multicultural or international business environments
  • Experience selling consulting or professional services is advantageous
