Hybrid Nurse
Date: 29 Oct 2026
Location: PL
Company: International SOS
International SOS is the world’s leading medical and security services company with over 12,000 employees working in 1,000 locations in 90 countries. International SOS Government Services administers the TRICARE Overseas Program providing high-quality, accessible health care services for U.S. Military service members, family members, retirees, and other eligible beneficiaries overseas.
About the role
- Are you an experienced nurse looking for a change from the pressures of a busy clinical environment?
- Would you like to step away from shift-based, hands-on patient care while still putting your nursing knowledge and experience to good use?
- Interested in a hybrid model with a large amount of working from home?
We are looking for a Polish and English-speaking Nurse (known internally as a Near Patient Nurse) based in Wrocław or the surrounding areas to support our TRICARE patient care programme.
This is an opportunity to move away from the day-to-day demands of ward-based nursing and into a medical case management role, where your clinical knowledge remains essential, but your focus shifts to supporting and coordinating patient care.
Rather than providing direct clinical treatment, you will visit patients at local healthcare facilities, liaise with medical teams, review patient progress and provide medical reports and updates to ensure patients receive appropriate care.
If you enjoy the patient-focused side of nursing but are ready for a different working environment, this could be a great next step in your career.
Key responsibilities
- The nurse would provide comprehensive in-patient clinical case management
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with providers, (medical and administrative) internal and external stakeholders and suppliers to ensure excellent delivery of service
- Regularly visit or contact the care providers (civilian and military treatment facility centers) to obtain updates for medical cases
- Liaise with patients to obtain detailed clinical information including past medical history to allow for accurate on-going case management
- Support the medical collection team in obtaining the discharge summary and medical records from the care provider
About you
- Registered General Nurse or equivalent with minimum 3 years of experience with registration to practice in Poland
- Recognized qualification to minimum diploma level or equivalence in practice demonstrated through portfolio/CV
- A demonstrable commitment to professional development
- Able to communicate Polish and proficiently in English
- Own a car and have a clean license
- Passionate about international healthcare
Benefits
- 15,900 PLN car allowance per annum
- 2,400 PLN home allowance per annum
- Structured career development track, with opportunities for progression and advancement
- Warm, supportive, and open company culture
- An opportunity to thrive in a global environment
- We celebrate diversity on a global scale and encourage every colleague to bring their personal best by creating an environment of inclusion and equal support
