About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver health education and promotion activities aimed at enhancing community knowledge on preventative health, hygiene, nutrition, and disease management.

• Collaborate with local health facilities, government agencies, and non-governmental organizations to coordinate health programs and campaigns.

• Promote maternal and child health services, including antenatal care, family planning, and nutrition counseling.

Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma or degree in Public Health, Community Health, Nursing, or related field preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in community health or health promotion roles is highly valued.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with diverse community members and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Cultural sensitivity and respect for diverse backgrounds, supporting inclusive health interventions.
• Sound organizational skills and attention to detail to manage community programs and reporting accurately.
• Willingness to work in community settings and travel locally as required.
