About the role

Stuttgart, Germany | Hybrid working – two days from home

Join International SOS Government Services and play a key role in supporting the people behind the TRICARE Overseas Program; an international healthcare program serving military communities overseas.

As the HR point of contact for our Stuttgart office, you will partner with managers and employees across Germany and the wider region, providing trusted advice throughout the employee lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for HR matters in Stuttgart, building trusted relationships with employees, managers and senior leaders
  • Provide practical guidance on employee relations, performance management, probation, contract changes, rewards, investigations, mediation, disciplinary processes and terminations
  • Deliver a welcoming and engaging onboarding experience, including induction presentations and follow-up evaluations
  • Work with colleagues to validate monthly payroll changes and ensure information is accurate and submitted on time
  • Review HR data, metrics and workforce trends to provide useful insights and support business decisions
  • Contribute to HR and organisational development projects across European operations
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, solve problems and make services more effective
  • Manage sensitive HR correspondence with professionalism, accuracy and discretion

About you

  • 3–5 years of HR experience, ideally in a multicultural, matrix organisation
  • Strong HR operations, coordination and advisory experience
  • Good knowledge of German employment law and Works Council collaboration
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building and organisational skills
  • Confidence working independently and managing multiple priorities
  • Fluent German and English
  • MS Office 365 and HRIS experience; SuccessFactors or ADP would be an advantage
  • Professional HR certification is desirable but not essential

Occasional travel within the EU may be required.
