Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Our Program Director is responsible for planning, overseeing and leading projects from ideation through to completion. This is a senior role at International SOS and requires interaction with a range of internal and external stakeholders. Our ideal Program Director is proactive and drives the project and going to get a decision instead of requesting for one.
As a role that focuses on completing a project as efficiently and promptly as possible, expect to see any of the following duties and responsibilities in a Program Director job description:
• Lead and drive project execution from initiation till handover and completion
• Leading project planning sessions
• Coordinating staff and internal resources
• Managing project progress and adapt work as required
• Review and revise scope in light of any new information and/or changes to initial assumptions, including implications for project time, cost, quality and risk
• Ensure adherence to enterprise methodologies and processes, and provide input to develop and improve such methodologies and processes, to meet best practice and ensure regulatory compliance;
• Ensuring projects meet deadlines
• Managing relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Designing and signing off on contracts
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Overseeing all incoming and outgoing project documentation
Required Work Experience
- Experience and Knowledge of Cloud services and specific AWS
- Experience and knowledge on digital transformations and building a digital platform, including the interface to the organisational backbone.
- Experience in Project Management and able to lead and guide developers, and work with internal and offshore development team to deliver systems according to specifications
- Experience in working in environment where structured SDLC (waterfall and agile), Project Delivery
Methodology and ITIL methodology is practiced;
- Proficiency in JIRA or similar project tracking/issue tracking tool
Required Qualifications
A Program Director should include degrees in any of the following fields:
- Engineering
- IT or Computer Science
- Business or Business Administration
- Management
- Postgraduate qualifications in Project Management (Prince2/PMI accreditation) is desirable
