About the role
We are looking for an experienced Director of Engineering - Delivery Agility to join our Product Team in Chiswick, West London. The purpose of this position is to ensure that Intl.SOS maintains and enhances its market position as the leading provider through the efficient development of product-led, digital-first, client-centric, contemporary and relevant travel risk and critical event management solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Responsible for overseeing agile delivery execution across multiple product teams, ensuring scalable, consistent, and high-quality outcomes.
- Act as a senior delivery leader, enabling cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement in product development processes.
- Provide deep experience in scaled agile frameworks, delivery governance, and leadership.
- Drive operational excellence through agile coaching, team enablement, and stakeholder alignment.
- Support Delivery Agility Analysts across multiple product squads
- Establish and monitor delivery metrics, KPIs, and agile maturity benchmarks
- Oversee sprint planning, release forecasting, and program increment alignment
- Foster cross-functional collaboration among product, UX, engineering, QA, and DevOps teams
- Support impediment resolution and ensure consistent escalation mechanisms are in place
- Champion agile practices including Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and lean product delivery
- Guide teams in continuous improvement through retrospectives, health checks, and feedback loops
- Report delivery progress and risk to engineering and business leadership
About you
• 12–15 years of experience in delivery, program management, or agile coaching roles
• Proven track record of managing large-scale digital delivery programs
• Deep knowledge of agile and scaled agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban)
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and collaboration dashboards
• Strong understanding of DevOps pipelines, release governance, and CI/CD fundamentals
• Excellent facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
• English to a very high standard written and oral
