Overall Purpose of The Job                          

The Assistant Manager, HR Operations is responsible for supporting day-to-day HR operations including HRIS management, payroll processing, benefits administration, performance management, employee engagement, and HR communications. This role also provides administrative and project support to the Head of HR, Delhi and ensures compliance with local labor laws and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain employment files with required documentation in compliance with local regulations.
  • Execute day-to-day HRIS data entry and maintenance to ensure accuracy of employee records for onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Coordinate with relevant counterparts to manage monthly payroll including statutory submissions.
  • Coordinate with relevant counterparts to Administer employee welfare and benefits programs such as insurance and statutory contributions.
  • Monitor and track absenteeism data, maintaining accurate records and escalating trends to the HR Operations & Rewards Manager.
  • Carry out timely updates in HR platforms across HR systems including MyHR, payroll, leave, and learning platforms.
  • Support the planning and on-ground execution of employee engagement activities and company events as directed.
  • Assist with HR communications and coordination of company events.
  • Update and maintain organizational charts upon confirmed headcount changes, ensuring accuracy at all times.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative and project coordination support to the Head of HR, Delhi and the HR Operations & Rewards Manager.
  • Support and participate in APMEA HR projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in HR operations, preferably in a fast-paced or regional/multinational environment.
  • Proficiency in HR systems such as SuccessFactors and payroll/leave management platforms.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Strong understanding of Indian labor laws and statutory compliance.
  • Demonstrates a high level of professionalism and strong work ethic.
  • Exercise discretion and interpersonal judgment when handling sensitive and highly confidential information.

Required Languages:

  • Good spoken and written English language skills
