Key responsibilities

Product Strategy & Vision

• Develop a compelling, forward-looking product vision and roadmap for the data platform and AI readiness that aligns with International SOS's overarching Data Products Strategy.
• Transform the data platform into a scalable, reusable internal product that serves as a critical business asset, moving beyond a purely technical tool.
• Identify and address capability gaps to support advanced analytics, real-time data processing, machine learning, and future AI-driven business use cases.

Roadmap, Delivery & Prioritisation

• Manage the prioritized backlog for all data platform and AI readiness initiatives, covering ingestion, storage, data quality, governance, and serving layers.
• Translate strategic objectives into actionable product increments, epics, and clearly defined success metrics.
• Collaborate closely with Data Engineering and Machine Learning teams to plan and execute delivery using agile methodologies, ensuring timely and efficient outcomes.

AI Readiness & Advanced Analytics Enablement

• Define and refine platform requirements to fully support the machine learning lifecycle, including experimentation, model training, deployment, and ongoing monitoring.
• Ensure the availability of high-quality, well-governed, feature-ready datasets accessible to Data Science and Machine Learning teams for efficient model development.
• Advocate for architectural best practices that promote MLOps, feature stores, model observability, automation, and scalable AI operations.

Data Quality, Governance & Trust

• Establish and enforce rigorous product standards for data quality, reliability, lineage, and observability throughout the platform.
• Collaborate with governance, security, and legal stakeholders to integrate privacy, consent management, and regulatory compliance into the platform's architecture and operations.

Experience & Skills

• At least 7 years of professional experience in product management, with extensive involvement in data platforms, analytics, and AI-enabled products.
• Comprehensive knowledge of contemporary data architectures, cloud technologies, and effective data lifecycle management practices.
• Proven track record of working collaboratively with Data Engineering, Machine Learning, and Architecture teams in agile environments.
• Strong commercial acumen with the capability to translate platform functionalities into measurable customer benefits and revenue streams.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and prioritisation skills, essential for navigating complex projects and diverse teams.
• Experience operating within regulated industries or sectors where trust and compliance are critical will be highly valued.
