This role is at the heart of our Near Patient Program, serving as the link between local healthcare providers, patients, and the TRICARE network. You’ll use your clinical expertise and communication skills to ensure patients receive the best possible care while experiencing compassion, clarity, and support every step of the way.
You’ll be based in Constanța, covering the surrounding region, typically 50% of your time traveling to hospitals and specialist sites, and 50% working from home in a hybrid setup.
What You will Do
You will provide professional, patient-focused support for TRICARE beneficiaries receiving care in Romania’s public and private hospitals. You won’t deliver direct medical treatment, but you will play a crucial role in case management, education, advocacy, and communication to improve the overall care experience and ensure high-quality outcomes.

Deliver comprehensive inpatient case management, preparing and submitting detailed case reports upon admission and throughout hospital stays, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual standards.

Liaise directly with treating physicians and healthcare providers to obtain up-to-date clinical information and support coordinated care, including medical history and discharge summaries.

Identify when care appears suboptimal, unnecessary, or potentially harmful, and escalate to the Care Advisor Team Lead or Regional Medical Director.

Provide non-clinical on-site support to patients, including ad hoc language assistance or chaperone services, to overcome cultural or communication barriers.

Support medical record collection and ensure case data is complete, accurate, and aligned with observations and documentation.

Maintain strong, professional relationships with local healthcare providers, building trust and collaboration that enhances the patient experience and ensures ongoing quality of care.

Partner with the Clinical Quality Team to support provider evaluations, credentialing, and feedback collection as part of the Clinical Quality Management Program.

Participate in regular meetings with expeditionary forces medical teams and internal stakeholders to streamline processes and share case updates.

Contribute to service quality and safety by reporting potential quality incidents, assisting with complaints and service recoveries, and supporting quality assurance initiatives.
About you

Requirements

Registered General Nurse (or equivalent) with at least 3 years’ post-registration experience.

Registered and eligible to practice in Romania.

Minimum diploma-level qualification or equivalent professional portfolio.

Fluent in Romanian and proficient in English (spoken and written).

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable using digital case management systems.

Must own a car and hold a clean, valid driver’s license.

Able to travel locally around Constanța and the surrounding region, with occasional national travel.
