Overview:
We are seeking a Supply Chain Assistant to support our Medical Supply Services (MSS) operations in Cairo. The role focuses on ensuring effective, timely, and compliant supply chain solutions for medical equipment, pharmaceuticals, and consumables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sourcing & Sales Support: Identify suitable products locally and internationally, prepare quotations, support tenders and project requirements, and calculate pricing based on delivery terms.
- Procurement: Process and track purchase orders, fast‑track urgent orders, handle delivery discrepancies, and monitor supplier performance.
- Billing & Credit Control: Reconcile supplier invoices, ensure accurate client billing, resolve invoice disputes, and maintain documentation.
- Cost Management: Maintain stock accuracy, manage shipping efficiently, and ensure service quality with cost control.
- Operations: Support equipment servicing, manage rental kits and inventory, maintain cold chain logs, support product recalls, and prepare monthly KPI reports.
- Compliance & OH&S: Follow SOPs, adhere to local regulations, ensure a safe workplace, and report hazards or incidents
Key Requirement:
Skills & Experience
- 2–3 years’ experience in end‑to‑end supply chain operations.
- 1–2 years’ experience in a medical environment (pharmaceuticals, medical devices, consumables).
Qualifications
- Matric and a relevant tertiary qualification in supply chain, procurement, logistics, business, or pharmacy (advantage).
Languages
- Excellent command of English (mandatory).
- French or Arabic is an advantage.
Other Requirements
- Own transport.
- Local travel (approx. 20 km radius); occasional travel within Africa.
