Role Overview

The Offshore Site Liaison Officer is responsible for supporting the delivery of International SOS Medical Services across offshore and onshore staffing projects in the MEA region. The role coordinates personnel logistics, staff mobilization/demobilization, compliance, and site operations to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Personnel Logistics & Movements

  • Coordinate all in-country staff movements with security teams, transport providers, and client logistics.
  • Manage vehicle dispatch and monitor movements via IVMS systems.
  • Ensure compliance with International SOS standards, security protocols, and offshore legislation.

Staff Rotation & Documentation

  • Oversee transport, accommodation, visas, and travel documentation.
  • Maintain updated rosters (3–12 months ahead) and ensure ORYX/Kronos records are current.
  • Ensure all staff certifications, medical documents, visas, and work permits are valid and uploaded.

Team Leadership & Support

  • Supervise, mentor, and appraise Site Liaison Officers (SLOs).
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of SLOs.
  • Lead weekly meetings with SLOs, HR, and Finance.

Operations & Quality Management

  • Ensure operational standards, procedures, and compliance requirements are met.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and quality audits.
  • Monitor service delivery KPIs and ensure strong customer satisfaction.

Administration & Reporting

  • Oversee timesheet collection, payroll coordination, and invoicing accuracy.
  • Prepare required service center reports and escalate operational issues as needed.
  • Manage expense uploads, POs, and financial documentation in line with policies.

Health, Safety & Risk

  • Promote OH&S culture and ensure compliance with safety policies.
  • Participate in inspections, audits, and incident reporting.
  • Ensure staff receive proper training, supervision, and equipment.

Skills, Experience & Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of medical services operations and logistics.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Ability to lead and manage teams effectively in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.
  • High level of customer‑service orientation with strong administrative skills.Proficiency in PC tools (Word, Excel) and internal platforms such as ORYX and Kronos.
  • Experience in operational logistics or people‑movement coordination (preferred).
  • Background in Oil & Gas or remote site operations is an advantage.Demonstrated customer service experience.University degree in a relevant field (preferred).
  • Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken); additional languages are an advantage.
  • Willingness to undertake occasional travel within offshore/MEA region.
