About the role

As a dedicated Site Liaison Manager at International SOS Egypt, you will play a vital role in overseeing and supporting our dynamic team of Site Liaison Officers (SLOs) based in Cairo. Your primary objective will be to ensure that our services are delivered professionally and efficiently to both employees and clients across the Middle East and Africa region. You will act as a crucial link between the operations team and site staff, maintaining communication and managing expectations to achieve operational excellence.

In this pivotal role, you will also be responsible for fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture within your team, encouraging continuous improvement, and driving performance standards that align with the company’s mission and values. You will bring your interpersonal skills and operational knowledge to ensure that our stakeholders receive the highest level of service, thus promoting a strong and positive reputation for our services in the region.

Key responsibilities

1. Team Leadership & Performance Management

Lead the Site Liaison Officers (SLOs) to ensure their performance meets established expectations, inluding conducting regular performance appraisals, managing attendance, and spearheading recruitment and training initiatives to build a high-performing team.

2. Operational Coordination

Coordinate operational efforts by facilitating meetings with cross-functional teams like Operations, HR, and Finance and ensuring operational issues are resolved promptly and that action items are followed through effectively.

3. Staff Logistics & Rotations

Oversee comprehensive logistics for site staff including travel arrangements, accommodation, and visa processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and client regulations to streamline staff rotations.

4. Application & System Oversight

Serve as the local expert for ORYX and Kronos systems, ensuring that all staff receive adequate training and support in using these applications for efficient operational management.

5. Documentation & Compliance

Maintain up-to-date staff documentation, ensuring all certifications, visas, and timesheets meet compliance standards required by both internal measures and client specifications.

6.  Expense Management

Manage staff expense approvals, and ensure that all financial operations comply with company billing policies.

7. Quality Assurance

Implement and uphold quality assurance standards for the Site Liaison function, ensuring that all activities adhere to procedural protocols.

8. Customer Service & Relationship Management

Build and enhance strong relationships with internal stakeholders and site personnel.

9. Reporting & Data Management

Ensure timely reports on site activities and operational metrics, using data to facilitate informed decision-making and enhance service delivery.

10. Leadership & Culture Building

Create supportive and positive workplace while mentoring your team and promoting a culture of communication, motivation, and professional growth.

About you

You are a compassionate and driven professional with extensive experience in administration, logistics, and team leadership. Your background includes at least 3 years of management experience where you successfully supervised teams, coordinated complex human logistics, and managed international travel, ideally within health-related or high-risk sectors such as energy, mining, or infrastructure.

Your fluency in Arabic and English, paired with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, makes you well-suited to thrive in fast-paced environments where sound decision-making is essential. Your ability to communicate effectively fosters a collaborative team atmosphere.
