About the role
The Business Intelligence Developer will design, develop, and optimize Power BI sales analytics solutions to support commercial performance, pipeline management, forecasting, and decision‑making for the Medical Services business. The role focuses on building scalable, well‑governed semantic data models, delivering high‑quality dashboards and insights for sales leadership, and ensuring accuracy, performance, and consistency across regional reporting.
Working closely with sales, commercial excellence, data, and Salesforce stakeholders, the role supports sales execution, market intelligence, and client analysis, translating business requirements into actionable analytical solutions while promoting strong data governance and quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and datasets supporting sales performance and executive reporting
- Build reusable semantic models, DAX measures, and optimized Power Query transformations
- Deliver ad‑hoc and standardized sales, client, and market analyses
- Support commercial enablement initiatives with consistent KPIs and metrics across regions
- Integrate and govern Salesforce data in Power BI, promoting data quality and best practices
- Apply visualization, performance optimization, and reporting standards
- Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and manage Power BI workspace governance
- Act as a technical advisor and contribute to BI documentation and continuous improvement
Required Skills and Knowledge
Experience & Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or similar
- 2–4+ years of hands‑on experience delivering production Power BI solutions
- Experience supporting executive‑level reporting
Technical Skills
- Power BI (Desktop & Service), DAX, Power Query (M)
- Data modelling (star schemas, performance optimization)
- Data governance and security
- Agile delivery experience
- Nice to have: Salesforce data models and Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Warehouse)
