About the role
To lead the Human Resources and Facilities/Security functions to ensure that the Intl. SOS business has the people and organisational capabilities to succeed in all aspects of Intl. SOS’s business. This is across all aspects from Learning and Development, Compensation and Benefits and Recruitment, through to ensuring compliance with all legislative, governmental, governance and legal compliance of all HR related business requirements and to ensuring a secure and appropriate workplace environment for all Intl. SOS staff. This role covers all group functions, business lines and companies located in Madagascar. It is critical that this incumbent is a strategic thinker and able to “think big” as well as operate tactically.
To provide professional human resources expertise in Madagascar in all aspects of human resource management practices as required in an excellent and timely manner
Key responsibilities
- Strategic HR partner for all functions in Madagascar.Develop and deploy HR strategic plan.\
- Provide HR leadership and operational support.
- Actively administer and manage teh payroll
- Partner with department heads to achieve objectives.
- Develop employee policies aligned with best practices.
- Recruit and retain high-caliber staff.
- Implement competitive compensation and benefit plans.
- Deploy performance management and training programs.
- Maintain positive employee relations and manage labor issues.
- Ensure compliance with OH&S and local labor laws.
About you
You hold at least a Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
5+ years' experience in Human Resources
Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies
Demonstrated expertise in running payroll, training employees
Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills
Attention to detail and good judgement
