Your Mission

As a Primary Care Paramedic, you are the frontline provider of emergency medical care, delivering rapid, professional response in critical situations. This role ensures patient safety and comfort while adhering to provincial standards and organizational protocols. You’ll maintain readiness of equipment and vehicles, perform triage and medical retrievals, and provide care within your licensed scope of practice. With responsibilities spanning accurate documentation, infection control, and participation in ongoing training and quality improvement, this position demands clinical expertise, adaptability, and a commitment to excellence in every emergency scenario.

 

How You’ll Contribute

As a Primary Care Paramedic, you'll deliver exceptional emergency care while upholding provincial regulatory standards and International SOS procedures:

  • Be a trusted professional, ensuring every patient interaction is compassionate, customer-focused, and clinically sound.
  • Keep medical equipment and transport vehicles ready 24/7 for rapid response—because lives depend on it.
  • Participate in medical retrieval services and perform patient triage when needed.
  • Stay sharp by completing annual skills assessments and actively pursuing ongoing education.
  • Operate confidently within your licensed scope of practice while supporting team excellence.
  • Answer incoming calls promptly and manage daily/nightly operational duties with precision.
  • Contribute to internal training programs by preparing and delivering sessions that elevate team skills.
  • Monitor equipment health, maintain inventories, and ensure all stock and PPE are available and in-date.
  • Uphold strict infection control practices to protect patients and colleagues.
  • Maintain accurate, timely patient records and prepare reports as required.
  • Engage in scheduled meetings, committees, and working groups to drive continuous improvement.
  • Assist in writing procedures and identifying risks to strengthen quality standards.
  • Be an active participant in the Quality Improvement Program, ensuring service excellence every day.

The Talent We’re Looking For


Must-haves (minimum requirements):
•    Work experience as a Primary Care Paramedic

•    Exceptional collaboration with other groups and the ability to work under pressure
•    Current registration with provincial body
•    A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
•    Alignment with our values of expertise,passion,respect and care


Preference for:
•    Experience in an industrial setting 
•    A high level of knowledge and the ability to interpret relevant medical and operational guidelines, protocols,  policies and procedures
•    Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
•    Collaborate with others in order to achieve the best results and deliver the most value
•    Hold others accountable, and expect others to do the same
