About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Application Solutions Manager to lead a team of four developers in designing, developing, and implementing technology solutions that optimize internal operations and program-level processes within a government services environment. This role is crucial in ensuring applications are efficient, scalable, secure, and compliant with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role, guiding the team through the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) while collaborating with key stakeholders to drive innovation, automation, and modernization efforts.

What you'll do

• Lead and mentor a team of four software developers, ensuring high-quality software delivery.

• Oversee the full SDLC, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.

• Define and execute the application solutions strategy, aligning with business and compliance needs.

• Identify technology-driven process improvements and automation opportunities.

• Develop scalable and secure solutions using Microsoft Azure, Office 365, and SaaS-based technologies.

• Ensure seamless application integration across internal and external platforms.

• Manage application modernization efforts, migrating legacy systems to cloud-based environments.

• Collaborate with IT, business, and government program teams to deliver practical technical solutions.

• Evaluate and recommend technology stacks and architectures for long-term success.

• Implement DevOps best practices, including CI/CD pipelines and cloud security measures.

• Manage vendor relationships and third-party tools, ensuring alignment with business needs.

• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure application success.

What you bring

Qualifications & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in software development and application solutions.
• 3+ years of experience leading a development team, including mentoring and technical management.
• Proficiency in .NET, C#, Microsoft Azure, Office 365, and SaaS architectures.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, DevOps, and cloud-native deployments.
• Experience in application modernization, migrating legacy systems to cloud-based environments.
• Proven expertise in integrating applications within enterprise ecosystems.
• Knowledge of government security policies and data protection regulations.
• Ability to effectively communicate with technical teams and business stakeholders.

Required Education & Clearance:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or an equivalent 4 years of additional experience in a senior developer role.
• This position does require someone who can obtain and maintain the appropriate level of tiered investigation access for a position of Trust after being offered a position. International SOS will facilitate.
