Overall Purpose of the Role

Based in the San Antonio, TX, Regional Contact Centre (RCC), the TRICARE Nurse Manager will be responsible for the delivery of professional and effective medical assistance services for TRICARE beneficiaries in the Latin America-Canada region in compliance with TRICARE guidelines and TOP Contract specifications and expectations, maintaining International SOS highest standards of excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and oversight for the TRICARE Medical Team to ensure professional, customer-focused, and quality service.
- Oversee and allocate team workload, ensuring timely completion of tasks and case management within service standards.
- Support the TRICARE Medical Director by monitoring complex or high-priority cases and ensuring adequate staffing coverage.
- Validate time sheets, monitor PTO, and manage monthly scheduling and updates.
- Lead team meetings, provide coaching, and act as the primary technical expert for the Medical Team.
- Review and adjust staffing models to align with caseload demands, quality standards, and business growth.
- Coordinate and support staff training, development, performance reviews, and continuous professional development.
- Escalate cases and manage service recovery efforts as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Ensure accurate and complete medical documentation and adherence to case management protocols.
- Participate in client-specific training, personal development, and departmental meetings.
Required Qualifications
Required Work Experience
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a RN; minimum 3 years in a supervisory role
- Military health care system experience preferred
- Experience of managing/coordinating international evacuations a distinct advantage
Required Education
- Current and unrestricted license from any US State, District of Columbia or US Territory to provide healthcare within scope of practice
- Bachelor Degree in Nursing from an accredited US nursing program
Required Qualifications
- This position does require someone who can obtain and maintain the appropriate level of tiered investigation access for a position of Trust after being offered a position. International SOS will facilitate.

- Occasional travel as required regionally for meetings, conferences, and site visits
