Overall purpose of the role

Are you passionate about creating engaging learning experiences and driving digital transformation in training? Join International SOS Government Services as a Learning and Development Specialist, where you will assess, develop, and support the educational needs of internal and external stakeholders. Your efforts will directly enhance the quality of service delivered to the TRICARE Overseas Program through innovative training solutions.

What you'll do

Training Program Design & Delivery

  • Facilitate induction training for new hires using blended learning methods, including virtual, classroom, self-directed, and just-in-time learning.
  • Leverage digital tools to enhance onboarding and job transition experiences.
  • Monitor and coach employees post-training to ensure skill application and retention.
  • Support client-facing training, including the TRICARE Fundamentals Course.
  • Develop engaging digital content, such as e-learning modules, videos, job aids, and virtual training materials.
  • Utilize LMS-based interactive simulations and digital training methods.


Digital Learning Advocacy

  • Promote the adoption of digital learning tools aligned with adult learning theories.
  • Implement just-in-time learning and personalized learning paths.
  • Educate stakeholders on digital enablement benefits and best practices.
  • Stay current with trends in digital learning, microlearning, and adaptive content.
  • Foster a self-directed learning and knowledge-sharing culture.


Learning Management System (LMS) Administration

  • Maintain and optimize LMS for a seamless user experience.
  • Curate content, track learner progress, and analyze engagement data.
  • Advocate for LMS functionalities and promote collaboration.


Needs Analysis & Continuous Improvement

  • Use data-driven insights to refine training effectiveness.
  • Partner with quality teams to measure training success and skill application.
  • Align learning outcomes with business objectives and digital literacy needs.
  • Participate in trainer calibration processes at local and global levels.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years in Learning & Development, preferably in call center or operations.
  • Proficiency in digital training tools and platforms.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance (facilitated by International SOS).

 

Language & Travel Requirements

  • Fluent English (written and spoken); additional languages a plus.
  • Occasional domestic and international travel for training, audits, or development initiatives.
  • Flexibility to work across time zones (approximately 20% of the year).
