IT Operations Engineer, Government Services

Overall purpose of the role

International SOS Government Services is looking for an IT Operations Team Member to ensure top-tier performance of our in-house computing systems and provide unparalleled support to our users.
 

What you'll do:

• Solve desktop issues and support end-users with advanced IT expertise.
• Develop policies, procedures, and innovative strategies for system improvements.
• Work with cloud and compliance teams to optimize system goals.
• Support server patching and perform Active Directory audits.
• Manage escalations, train junior team members, and maintain vendor relationships.

What you bring:

Technical Expertise: Advanced knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Office 365, SharePoint, and networking technologies. Familiarity with Azure AD, Citrix Virtual Desktops, Salesforce, PowerShell scripting, Telco troubleshooting, and SolarWinds.
Experience: 3+ years supporting end-users, 2+ years managing Office 365, and hands-on experience resolving hardware/software issues, installing network equipment, and managing escalations.
Additional Skills: Vendor management, software lifecycle management, procedure development, and training junior team members.

Required Qualifications 
•    BS in a technical discipline or equivalent technical field experience
•    This position does require someone who can obtain and maintain the appropriate level of tiered investigation access for a position of Trust after being offered a position. International SOS will facilitate.

•    Weekly on-call availability with follow the sun model
•    Active Directory Audits
