Our Government Services Business Line provides comprehensive medical and security support to U.S. government programs, including the TRICARE Overseas Program (TOP).
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive HR Generalist to join our San Antonio team. This is a hands-on role, perfect for an experienced HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
What you'll do:
- Be the go-to HR advisor for employees and leadership, ensuring smooth HR operations.
- Provide full-cycle HR support, including onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits, and training.
- Partner with leadership to drive engagement, improve retention, and build strong working relationships.
- Manage complex employee relations issues, including investigations and disciplinary actions.
- Collaborate with global HR teams to ensure compliance with federal, state, and contract-specific HR regulations.
- Work with payroll and finance teams to resolve timekeeping and payroll-related matters.
- Analyze HR data and provide workforce insights to help drive strategic decisions.
What you bring:
- HR expertise: Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.
- Prior experience in government, healthcare, insurance, or military-related environments is a plus.
- Strategic mindset & hands-on execution: Ability to work both strategically and operationally to drive HR effectiveness.
- Strong interpersonal skills: Confident in advising and influencing senior leaders while maintaining strong employee relationships.
- Problem-solving & adaptability: Comfortable working in a highly matrixed, fast-paced, global environment.
- Education & Certification: Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred. SHRM or HRCI certification is advantageous.
- Security Clearance Eligibility: This position does require someone who can obtain and maintain the appropriate level of tiered investigation access for a position of Trust after being offered a position. International SOS will facilitate.
