A. Overall Purpose of The Job

The Preventive Medicine Specialist will be responsible for providing support to project leadership and the guest community. This will include performing dining facility inspections, water and ice testing and working with medical leadership to investigate communicable diseases. The role will also involve preparing reports for the client, making recommendations for mediation of noted issues, and the ability to work independently with little supervision. 

B. Key Responsibilities

•    Perform Dining Facility inspections. 
•    Perform testing of water and ice as directed. 
•    Prepare required reports. 
•    Work with the guest community to develop healthy life habits. 
•    Assist the community outreach program with development of educational lessons and delivery of these lesson to the guest community.
•    Assist community outreach program with guest programs as training, skillset and time allows.
•    Other duties as assigned.
 

C. Job Profile

 

Experience Required:
•    2+ years of experience in preventive medicine. 
•    Experience with Microsoft Office365 (M365) applications 
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

 

Education Required:
•    High school diploma or equivalency
•    Training and certification from military, public health agency or other certifying body

 

Physical Requirements:
•    Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
•    Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time.
•    May require bending, stooping and lifting up to 15 lbs.

 

Other Special Qualifications:
•    US Citizen or Permanent Resident Card is required.  
•    Must be able to relocate to Germany for 3 months at a time. 
•    A valid passport is required and must be in your possession prior to relocation. You must maintain a current passport during your stay in Germany.
